Fondation Beyerle

A strategic exploration of how a cultural institution can connect digital, physical and live experiences. The project rethinks the visitor journey across different forms of engagement.
Client: Fondation Beyeler · Role: Experience & Strategy Design, Agency: denkwerk

The project investigated how a museum experience changes when digital and physical encounters are considered as one connected ecosystem.
Research into audiences, existing touchpoints and institutional perspectives formed the basis for mapping the visitor journey. Stakeholder workshops brought different viewpoints into dialogue and helped identify tensions, opportunities and strategic questions.
Rather than treating the website as an isolated digital product, the project considered the relationship between online information, the physical museum and live encounters. The work demonstrates how design can translate complex institutional structures and diverse perspectives into a coherent experience strategy.
