Citi Share explores the city as a space in which economic systems, political interests and everyday life intersect. The project starts from the question of how financialisation influences who can participate in shaping urban space.
Through speculative scenarios, conceptual design and narrative formats, alternative models of urban development are constructed. These scenarios do not attempt to predict the future, but use possible futures to question present conditions.
The project positions the city as a space of conflict and possibility: a place where different interests meet, infrastructures determine opportunities, and alternative forms of participation can be imagined.
Citi Share uses design fiction and speculative thinking as tools to make otherwise abstract economic and political structures tangible.
